Day 5- Pathways of Permeable Paving

Day 5 and we are flying! We arrived at site first thing and got to working on the pathways themselves. With a crash course from Leigh in laying permeable pavers, I carried on and lay much of the paving myself, finally feeling a physical contribution to the garden!

The paths are constructed from a permeable block paver, and they have created exactly what I envisioned. The Bradstone pavers are truly a fantastic product. We’ve gone for the Woburn rumbled stone, which has a more weathered appearance, and will allow the garden to feel more lived-in, like its been in the world a bit longer than 15 days!
